The Community Health and Research team at UAMS Northwest is leading the way to improve health outcomes for all. We seek to identify and understand health needs through research and programs and work to create an environment where every person has access to their best health.

The Office of Community Health and Research comprises of a robust team of multidisciplinary faculty and research staff from a variety of backgrounds, including nutrition, early childcare, academics, charitable food systems, physical education, and more. In just over five years, the Office has produced more than 100 scientific articles surrounding four primary focus areas: Community Programs, Health Research, Healthy Food Systems, and Maternal Child Health.
