Welcome to the Northwest Regional Campus of the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS)

We are glad you are interested in the UAMS Northwest Regional Campus – an extension of UAMS’s medical education, research, and clinical mission in northwest Arkansas. The regional campus was established in 2007 to help meet the state’s growing need for healthcare workers to serve the people of Arkansas. On this website, you will find information regarding the northwest campus, its academic departments, and other information for faculty, students, staff, and friends. You will also find helpful links to the central UAMS website.

NWA Equitable Food Response and Relief to COVID-19

UAMS Northwest’s Office Community Health and Research, with funding from the Walmart Foundation, is partnering with the Arkansas Community Foundation to support coordinated food insecurity response and relief in Northwest Arkansas (Benton, Carroll, Madison, and Washington counties) due to COVID-19 illness, job loss, school closures, and social distancing. UAMS is reaching out to community organizations to understand their current needs related to sustaining and growing food outreach programs during this time, collecting and disseminating information via a weekly newsletter, and providing financial resources where needed.
