Community Health and Research
The Office of Community Health and Research at UAMS Northwest focuses on addressing health disparities in minority populations and rural communities, using a community-based participatory approach. Our work integrates research and community programs with interprofessional education and service learning to provide faculty and students the opportunity to participate in community health research.
We are currently working to address health disparities among Marshallese and Hispanic residents of Northwest Arkansas. Please see our “Projects” page for more information about our current programmatic work and research studies. For regular updates on our work click to read our Latest News or follow us on Facebook!
